Charlie is one of our well-loved dinosaurs at Hartford. Over the past 30+ years he has seen the company become the leader of locally owned Northern Colorado builders, and watched it become a place for great people to create their dreams. He currently works with construction field staff, both inside and outside the company, to ensure our homes provide the best possible experience for our customers. He is very proud of his grandkids, his kids, and his patient wife, and if he’s not here at work, he’s probably gone fishin’.

Tyler Colburn

Tyler has been with Hartford for 6 years and his passion for real estate started when he was very young. Even though this guy doesn’t drink coffee, he has more energy than the entire company combined. The energy is a blessing as he’s chasing around 4 kiddos when he’s not in the office! He loves spending time with his best friend; his wife, and fishing, hunting, skiing and cheering on the Nuggets!

With 13 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Jill has honed her skills and expertise to thrive in her sales career. Jill is originally from California and enjoys a full and vibrant life with her family. She is married with three beautiful children and two dogs that bring endless joy and energy to her household. Jill loves to travel, play card games of any kind, and cheer on the Lakers and the Dodgers! What she enjoys most about working for Hartford is the amazing people she gets to collaborate with every day. The supportive and friendly atmosphere makes every day rewarding!

Patrick McMeekin

Patrick has been with Hartford for 5 years and has been working in the real estate development industry in Northern Colorado for almost 20 years. When he's not solving the world's problems, you’ll find him golfing and skiing with his family!

Jason Stansberry

Jason has been counting beans since the early 90’s across several different industries. Besides counting them at Hartford, he’s our class clown of the bunch. You never know what he’s got up his sleeve! Outside of work, Jason loves to cook for his family and play golf with his wife, Rachel, every chance they get.

Jamie Thorpe

VP of Entitlements

Jamie is a former urban planner who got poached by her favorite client – Hartford Homes! She loves to swim, hike, camp, and generally just explore Colorado. Jamie is also an artist and loves to work in both oils and watercolors, capturing on canvas all the places she explores. She has two amazing kids, who are also musical, artistic, and love to discover the world.

Jon Tschetter

VP of Operations

Jon Tschetter's 35+ years of experience in making dream homes a reality was the perfect match for Jon joining Hartford Homes in 2019. When Jon isn't sporting his graphite hard hat, you can find him taking home the cake on family trivia nights and jamming out to his favorite old school rock and roll tunes with his trusty sidekick, Seamus the dog — rumor has it Jon could be the next Bruce Springsteen.

Shane is a Colorado native with over 26 years of experience in the land development/ construction industry. From pushing brooms to project management, Shane has done it all! In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife, working on remodeling projects, and spending time with friends and family.

Jonathan has been in the Construction Industry for 35+ years. His love for fine finish work & furniture building lured him into a love for custom construction projects. “I love my job…I get to build all of the fun stuff for our neighborhoods… Pools, clubhouses, splash pads, pocket parks & more!” When he’s not training his dog, Cooper, you can most certainly find him on the golf course with friends or hunting wild trout on Colorado’s mountain streams.

Andrew Cox

Home Warranty Manager

Andrew hails from Tennessee with a strong background in homebuilding and a wide range of hobbies and interests. His wife is a high school teacher who teaches Agriculture and FFA, and together, they enjoy their lively household of three dogs—Bentley, Oakley, and Duck—and three cats—Loki, Cirilla, and Oliver. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, and cheering on the Nashville Predators or Tennessee Titans. He is also a mixed martial artist, competing in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and MMA. A little known fact about Andrew is that he spent his young-adult years touring around the country with his band, before joining the Army. With almost ten years of experience in the homebuilding field, Andrew has become well-versed in the industry and brings a wealth of experience to his role. Andrew enjoys working in a fun, dynamic atmosphere with great people at Hartford!

Cody Cox

Cody cox started in the construction business right out of high school, learned the ropes, and worked his way up to a construction manager; a goal he strived for the day he started! When he’s not out making home buyer’s dreams come to life, he’s at home, remodeling and working on the Homefront. He spends most of his free time with his son.

Jacob Embry

Jacob found his passion for the construction industry back in 2004 and loves that he gets to be in the field and learning something new everyday. He and his family love to be outside as much as possible - Golfing, hiking, walking, exploring new craft breweries, you name it. If it's outside, Jacob is there!

Adam Hess

Adam is originally from New England and moved to Colorado to get a Masters of Science in Construction Management from CSU and decided to stay permanently. He has an amazing wife named Hannah, and two wonderful girls (Lucy and Josey) that are in elementary school. In his free time, he loves skiing, live music, motorcycle trail riding, fishing, home remodeling, and hanging out with his family at their mountain cabin. He has a passion for building homes and prides himself on building neighborhoods that will last lifetimes.

When she's not improving lives and helping people purchase their dream home, she can be found on the beach with a delicious beverage and her husband Jesse by her side, or at Disney World with her three little kiddos!

Kendall started in the new home construction industry in 2016, began working as an Online Sales Counselor in 2017, and then obtained her Real Estate license in 2020. (Yes, she’s a real person & that really is a photo of her on the website!) She is our award-winning OSC. She loves playing matchmaker during your new home search by understanding your wants and needs and helping you find the perfect community/home. Kendall is a Colorado native. In her free time, she spends as much time as possible with her husband, son, daughter, and two pups. She also loves rooting on her home teams, traveling with her family, listening to live music, and camping in the mountains.

Some may say we “stole” Sarah from another builder, but that’s neither here nor there. Sarah is a people person with a knack for selling dream homes! She’s our Disney lover. When she’s not planning family trips to Disney Land, she’s cozied up by the fire watching a movie with her husband and kiddos.

Emily is originally from Pittsburgh but has called Northern Colorado home since 2012. She is happily married to her best friend and is a proud mama to a sweet baby girl and a goldendoodle named Moose. Emily has been in the homebuilding industry for 8 years, bringing her passion and expertise to every project. In her free time, Emily loves to travel, practice hot yoga, and indulge in a delicious charcuterie board. She’s also a plant enthusiast, caring for over 30 houseplants, and loves a good outfit. As a proud Colorado State alum, she’s an enthusiastic supporter of the Rams! What she loves most about working at Hartford is the laid-back culture and the empowering, girl power sales team. There’s always a reason to celebrate, whether it’s a big victory or a small win, and Emily values the camaraderie that comes with it.

In my free time, my partner and I enjoy exercising, trying new restaurants, and shopping! My favorite part about working at Hartford is working with others who are kind, passionate, and hardworking! Nicole Curtis made a complete industry flip landing her dream job at Hartford Homes in 2020 and she hasn’t looked back! She is the marketing glue that keeps everything together. When she’s not daydreaming of her next DIY home project or blowing all of her money at Home Goods, you can find her sippin’ old fashioneds and enjoying the fresh Rocky Mountain air with her husband, 4-year-old son, and sweet baby girl.

Megan is a proud CSU alumni and fourth generation Colorado native! She enjoys all things Colorado: Skiing, camping, cheering on Denver sports teams, etc. She has been in the marketing field for over 17 years and enjoys channeling her creativity into design, event planning, account management, and fostering strong customer relationships. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and their goldendoodle, Willow! Her weekends are usually filled with sports, bike rides, poolside relaxation, or catching up with friends over a drink at a local brewery or coffee shop.

Maddy hails from the Midwest, specifically Iowa City! With nearly 10 years of experience working for various production and semi-custom homebuilders, Maddy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project at Hartford. Outside of work, Maddy is currently embracing the joys of parenthood, having welcomed a baby boy in November. Alongside their new bundle of joy, Maddy has two dogs, Madden and Milez, and is settling into a new home they moved into in July. In her free time, Maddy enjoys exploring new coffee shops, completing home projects, golfing, and traveling. Though she isn't a diehard sports fan, being from Iowa means the Hawkeyes and women’s basketball hold a special place in her heart. A fun, lesser-known fact about Maddy is her uncanny ability to sound just like JAAAAsOOOn DerUUUULOOOOooo. What Maddy likes most about working for Hartford is the exceptional team and the incredible company culture. The supportive community and camaraderie among coworkers make Hartford a rewarding place to grow professionally and personally.

Ed hails from Delco, Pennsylvania, just 10 miles south of Philadelphia. He and Janelle, his wife of 32 years, have two grown children. Their daughter, Merik, will graduate from University of Pennsylvania as a veterinarian in May, 2025, while their son, Graham, owns Crested Butte Mechanical and lives in Colorado with his wife, Hannah, and their son, Jack. Janelle and Ed share their home with two Pomeranians, Roo and Maisy, as well as a Maine Coon named Mimi. Outside of work, Ed enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors hiking or working in the yard. He has been in the homebuilding industry for over 40 years, starting in a family-run building business and steadily working his way up in the field. Ed is the Philadelphia Eagles number one fan! And also roots for the Flyers and Phillies. At Hartford, he’s particularly impressed by the outstanding people, well-established processes, and the limitless potential for the future.

After purchasing her first home from Hartford, she joined the Hartford team as an Architectural Drafter. Oksana finds it incredibly rewarding to see how all the sketches and drawings come to life and what impact it has on others! In her free time, she enjoys a good book, yoga sessions, and painting!

Britt made the choice to change her career in 2018 and found her new path here at Hartford Homes. She started out at the heart of Hartford Homes, meeting and greeting everyone from the front desk, and has moved into her new role in the Purchasing department. When she’s not keeping our starts moving as smoothly as possible, you can find her snuggled on the couch with her pup or exercising her old passion of dance.

Steve brings his 30 years of Land Development experience to the Hartford team and has been directly involved with developing 1000’s of residential lots within dozens of communities along the front range of Colorado from Castle Rock to Wellington. During his free time, he enjoys Flyfishing, Jeeping, and most of all, spending time with his family doing anything outdoors.

Wendi brings over 18 years of entitlements and design review expertise to the Hartford team. She is a third generation quilter, avid water color artist, and enjoyer of neighborhood walks with her husband and their two dogs, Summit and Autumn.

Alex Carlson

District and Community Director

Alex is a third-generation Colorado native. He is married to his amazing wife, and together they share their home with a ragdoll cat Toulouse and two German Shepherds, Romy and Sofi. Golf is Alex's greatest passion, though he humorously admits that much of his talent is “wasted” on the course. He is a dedicated Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Rays fan, although he holds out hope that the Rockies might one day be relevant again. With more than a decade of experience in real estate development and community management, Alex joined Hartford in 2024 to explore the world of homebuilding. Alex values Hartford's commitment to quality, local philanthropy, and its stellar reputation, which he is grateful to be a small part of.
